THE NATIONAL MUSEUM | ||
At present the National Museum shelters almost 14 million of items from the area of natural history, history, arts, music and librarianship, located in tens of buildings. Throughout the entire year, visitors may view the permanent exhibits of the National Museum as well as a number of temporary exhibits. | ||

THE NATIONAL TECHNICAL MUSEUM | ||
Organizational structure of the Museum includes three basic sections carrying out main tasks of the institution. The first of them is oriented to collecting and investigation activities and is headed by the deputy director for documentation and history of technology. The second is oriented on exhibition, programme, promotional and editing activities and includes also economic management of the institution. The third of them is the Railway Museum, what was founded in January 2001. | ||

THE NAPRSTEK MUSEUM | ||
The collection now consists of artefacts from Asian, African and Native American cultures. There are weapons, hunting implements and ritual objects from the Aztecs, Toltecs and Mayas. The collection of statues and masks is particularly interesting. The Naprstek Museum is now part of the National Museum. | ||

THE MUSEUM OF CZECH LITERATURE | ||
In one part of the buildings of Prague Premonstratensian Strahov Monastery you can find Museum of Czech Literature – Pamatnik Narodniho Pisemnictvi. Its function is to create and maintain collections, to engage in scientific, cultural, educational, and methodical activities. | ||

WAX MUSEUM PRAGUE | ||
The collection is divided between the two Prague Wax Museums; Mostecka Street specialising in the early historical exhibits, whilst at the Melantrichova Street museum, over 50 Czech and World figures of culture, sport and politics from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries, who changed local and world history, can be seen, spread throughout an area covering 250 sq meters. | ||
